Fees and Charges
There are many things our doctors do during their own time as they are not core NHS services. This includes letters to outside agencies, fitness letters, medicals for employment or hobbies e.g. diving or racing driving, holiday cancellation etc. A full list of our fees can be found below. You will be informed of the charge beforehand and you will be expected to pay for the letter/medical prior to your consultation. (Please be aware we do not complete pupil exemption letters).

Health Care Assistant (HCA)
Our HCA is fully qualified to carry out the following services:
1. Lifestyle checks, including blood pressure monitoring, lifestyle advice, advice on alcohol, smoking and weight.
2. Phlebotomy (taking your blood for analysis)
3. ECG’s
4. Weight management
5. Flu and pneumococcal vaccinations (cannot do children)
6. Vitamin B12 injections
7. Assisting the GP’s in minor surgery, coil fits and implant removals
Practice Nurses
The Practice Nurses are fully qualified to carry out:
- Immunisation for children.
- Routine injections.
- Cervical smears and family planning advice.
- Asthma/COPD reviews.
- Monitoring Hypertension.
- Diabetic monitoring.
- Coronary Heart Disease annual reviews.
- ECG and Spirometry testing.
- Swabs
- Stroke/TIA Monitoring
